Family membership
Family memberships are required for those competing in Club Racing, Start Racing and Better Racing courses. Members also receive discounts on Sailing School courses & member benefits.
As most of our sailors are under 18 you’ll need to take out a family membership (you’ll all be getting involved!)
Ordinary Membership
An Ordinary member is above the age of 18 and intends to take part in the sailing activities of the Club either as a sailing participant, volunteer or parent. This membership can be paired with the junior membership for single parent families. Ordinary members are eligible for committee positions.
Junior Membership
Junior members are under the age of 18 and take part in the sailing activities of the club. This membership must be accompanied by an ordinary membership. No joining fee payable when the parent ordinary member has paid their individual joining fee. Junior members are not eligible for committee positions, nor are they eligible for club access key privileges.
Associate Membership
An Associate member is a club member who is above the age of 18 and supports the objectives of the club but doesn't fit into any of the other listed membership categories. Associate members are permitted to use and enjoy club facilities provided to members. Associate members are not eligible for committee positions, nor are they eligible for club access key privileges.
