The Vaucluse Amateur 12ft Sailing Club is hosting the 2023 VA12SC Head of the Harbour Regatta on Sunday 3rd December 2023.
VA12SC looks forward to welcoming all Sabot sailor’s to our club for the regatta.
With $500 in prizes for competitors, it’s going to be an exciting day!
This is a regatta for Sabot 1-Ups and 2-Ups.
It is suitable for all skill levels. There will be two fleets:
Senior Fleet (1 up)
Junior Fleet (including 2 up, and Green fleet sailors)
The regatta is a great way to prepare for the upcoming Sabot Nationals.
Overview
The day will run as follows (extract from Notice of Race):
Registration and safety checks 9:00 – 10:00.
Competitor Briefing 11:00
Not before 12.00 Warning signal first race
Followed by 2 more races, maximum 3 races
Minimum 1 race to constitute a series.
No warning signal will be made after 3:30pm
Entry Fees:
Sabot Senior: $50
Sabot Junior: $50
Registration:
Please register and pay online using the VA12SC online registration platform.
Please register by the 30th of November.
Registration and payment needs to be finalised by 5pm Saturday the 2nd of December. After the 30th November a late fee will apply.
Its is a requirement of the event that all participants have paid their Annual Southern NSW Sabot Association Fees. Sailors will be accepted from other zones provided membership of that zone is current.
Competitors must also enter their boat into the regatta's online race entry and results system using this link:
