Contact Us

The best way to find out about the club is to visit us and meet some members.

The club is open on Sundays during terms 4 and 1 from 8.30am until about 4pm.

Our club is run by volunteers, so if your query cannot answered by the frequently asked questions (FAQs) and you’ve had a good look through the website, then send us a message and we will get back to you, hopefully within a couple of days.

With an ambition of being Australia’s best youth sailing club we pride ourselves on the down to earth attitude of VA12SC. Run by members, for members, we value our community and the can do attitude of our many volunteers.

Our official sailing season runs from October - April with fleet racing every Sunday. Our sailing school runs eight week Sunday morning courses during term 4 and term 1 as well ‘drop and go’ camps every school holiday.

If you would like to get involved please check out our membership page to learn more about what we do and what we offer members.

Got some questions? Check out our FAQ page.

We look forward to welcoming you and your family to the club!

Sailing Pathway

We have designed our sailing pathway to create a program that takes participants from their first introduction to sailing on to advanced racing. VA12SC is an accredited Australian Sailing Discover Sailing Centre. This enables us to run the Australian Sailing Dinghy Program in our Sailing School.

Sabots and Flying Eleven’s are long standing junior classes in Australia. Over the years the boats have evolved and the competition remains strong across the nation. Many children progress from our club fleet to state and national teams.

To retain true to our heritage in 12 skiff sailing we recently established a Cherub fleet. This enables us to continue providing sailing for our older teenage club members, as well as youth and the occasional ambitious Mum or Dad!
