Club membership and Fees.

Family Membership

Our membership is on an annual basis and covers the sailing season (August to July). The Membership Form is available for download here.

The application form is for “family membership”. This can include the applicant, their spouse/partner and any dependent children. It does not typically extend to wider relations.

Should you wish to include anyone else in your membership application, please contact the club Secretary.

Membership can only be granted to those individuals (both children and adults) whose names appear on the application form. Each child listed on the form applies for individual junior membership, each adult for individual full membership.

Adult children (i.e. 18years and over) must take out Individual Adult Membership – see below.

The Joining Fee is payable by new members joining the Club for the first time. Race fees are payable for each sailor, except for those undertaking learn-to-sail courses for which a separate fee is charged.

Dinghy storage requires payment of the appropriate fee together with completion of a Boat Storage Agreement (available here).

Download our Family Membership Application form here.

Indivudal Adult Membership

Our membership is on an annual basis and covers the sailing season (August to July). The Membership Form is available for download here.

The application form is for adults 18 years or older.

Membership can only be granted to the individual named on the application form.

There is no social membership – all members are expected to sail.

Junior Membership

Where the club runs sailing camps open to schools or the public it is a requirement that participants in these camps take out junior membership. Junior membership application forms are made available to participants at the time of registration.

If a participant takes out junior membership once then no other junior membership fees are due for the rest of the season should they want to join other sailing camps during the season.

If after participating in our sailing camps you’d like to do more sailing then we’d love to hear from you and encourage you to become family members! Contact us if you’d like to know more about this.

Temporary Casual Indivudal Adult Membership

Where the club runs adult learn to sail courses open to the public it is a requirement that participants in these courses take out Temporary Causal Individual Adult Membership. These membership application forms are made available to participants at the time of registration.

This membership is valid for 3 months and if the participant continues to take extra courses during this period then no extra membership fees are due for each extra course.

If after participating in our courses you’d like to do more sailing then we’d love to hear from you and encourage you to become Individual Adult Members! Contact us if you’d like to know more about this.
